Frequently asked questions for Holiday rentals

Yes (except for Easter, July and August) either a 3-night weekend or 4-night mid-week break, as well as for full weeks, all subject to availability. Please see our rental tariff for details of prices and check availability with our team or use the online enquiry form.

If you are booking more than 28 days in advance of your holiday, a deposit of 25% of the rental price will be due. If you are booking less than 28 days prior to your holiday, full payment will be required at the time of making your reservation.

Use of all The Thatches leisure facilities is included in the price of your holiday, as well as gas, electric & water. We also offer a weekly cleaning service free of charge and parking for one car.

Our Terms and Conditions can be found on our website here. A copy will also be sent to you when you make your booking.

We provide bed linen and bath towels in all of our lodges. However, we do not provide cot linen and we ask you to provide your own towels.

If you require a cot, a high chair or baby monitors for your holiday, please let us know and we can provide one for you. There is no charge for these items. Please provide your own cot linen.

Our arrival time is 3.00pm and we would ask that you leave the property by 10.30am on departure day. If you arriving after 5pm please let us know so that we can make arrangements to meet you or leave a key.

Please telephone us immediately if you have to cancel a holiday and also email us or send us a letter to confirm this cancellation. If you cancel your holiday more than 28 days before arrival you will forfeit your booking deposit. If you cancel within 28 days of your holiday date, then unfortunately you will forfeit your full payment. We recommend that you take out the appropriate insurance cover to protect against cancellations.

Regrettably pets are not permitted in any of our rental lodges. Registered assistance dogs are permitted free of charge.

• Monday – Friday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
• Saturday: 10.00am to 5.00pm
• Sundays & Bank Holidays: 11.00am to 4.00pm
