Explore the historic seaside towns....

Modbury is an elegant Georgian town with fascinating antiques and craft shops.  The main street is lined with tea shops, gift shops and restaurants, and is the most convenient place for provisions and daily essentials.

The cosmopolitan seaside town of Salcombe is one of the country's prettiest sailing and fishing harbours.  Here you will find excellent boutiques, gift shops and a wide choice of restaurants, bistros and waterside inns.

The busy market town of Kingsbridge is also a popular tourist destination with excellent shops, a 16th century market arcade and a lovely museum showing rural life in the South Hams.

Browse through the narrows streets of Dartmouth filled with boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.  Enjoy a cream tea or sit on the quayside to watch the children “crabbing” and boats pottering along the River Dart.
